The OnePlus 6 was seen on Amazon Germany website ahead of its big reveal later this week. The listed release data for the device was 22 May, with an entry price of €519 for the 64GB version, moving up to €569 for the larger-capacity 128GB model. OnePlus has also come out with a new teaser and a blind test comparing the OnePlus 6 camera against the iPhone X, Galaxy S9, and Pixel 2.
The OnePlus 6 should launch in Germany and the rest of Europe on Tuesday, May 22.
OnePlus' co-founder Carl Pei had confirmed that the phone would have a notch, similar to Apple's iPhone X in March. The bottom of the device hosts a single speaker on the left, the USB Type C port at the center along with primary mic and the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the right. As quite evident from the new pictures, the new device is dominated by a 6.3-inch display at the front, and shiny "mirror black" body frame that clearly boasts its glass body.
The renders just like the numerous leaks we have seen so far reveal a OnePlus smartphone with a glass back and a notch at the top of the nearly edge-to-edge display on the front. The phone will also feature 2280×1080 display, 20 MP and 16 MP dual-lens rear camera, 20 MP front camera, and 3,450mAh battery. The phone is expected to be launched in two base variants with 6GB RAM and two storage options with 64GB storage and 128GB storage. Despite being available nearly exclusively online, demand for OnePlus smartphones is strong with each new release. The front camera can also be used to unlock the phone.
Having said that, the Amazon Germany listing also revealed the presence of Optical Image Stabilization along with water resistance. Seeing the overwhelming response for the upcoming flagship smartphone launch, the premium Android smartphone maker has announced the first ever 'Fast AF' sale for OnePlus 6.
