David Moyes 'likely to leave West Ham United'

The chance to play in the Premier League may be appealing though, and with Clubcall claiming previous year that West Ham had been scouting Hradecky, the Hammers should be ready to hijack Leverkusen and hand the goalkeeper a chance to follow in the footsteps of fellow Finn and ex-West Ham shot-stopper Jussi Jaaskelainen.

Goals from Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini ensured West Ham ended the season with a comfortable win at the London Stadium.

Moyes said: "Everybody always thinks the grass is greener and there's something better out there".

'I don't know if anybody can come and make that big a difference in six months. Even (Man City boss) Pep [Guardiola] took a bit of time to get his team right.

"Bare in mind that Rafa Benitez came very, very close to taking the West Ham job, I think he'd nearly signed a contract to become the West Ham manager, before he was offered the Real Madrid job". But every manager now is in transit. Moyes said: "What will influence me? I don't think there is a long period (to settle in)".

But Monday's meeting, set up when Moyes was still manager, proves that Sullivan is certainly interested in making another managerial change, with Fonseca the first through the door for talks. A Bola says "he's been linked to several clubs from the five major leagues, especially Everton and West Ham".

The 28-year-old is out of contract this summer, so can be signed for free, and his displays in Germany suggest that he may just be the flawless goalkeeper for West Ham to build from at the back.
