Rihanna's Savage x Fenty Lingerie Debut Is an Ode to Body Positivity

The Savage X Fenty line, the Diamonds star's latest fashion venture, was officially launched on Thursday night at Brooklyn nightclub Villain, and as well a showing off her new skimpy designs, the singer also unveiled hologram Rihanna.

Extensive sizes are available so that all women can wear the line! Oh, and nothing's over $100. However, things are, as expected, selling out fast.

"Women should be wearing lingerie for their damn selves", Rihanna told Vogue. "You don't have to stick to one personality with lingerie; it's fun to play around", she said.

In an effort to handle the high volumes of shoppers flocking to the Savage x Fenty website, the brand employed a line system for their online shop. Savage x Fenty's first drop included bras, underwear, T-shirt bras, corsets, jumpsuits, rompers, robes and more.

The musician/entrepreneur released her long-awaited lingerie line on Friday and fans flocked to the online store to buy up what they could.

Despite these difficulties, many fans were clearly willing to work for their lingerie: As of press time, many items are already sold out, including nearly all of the larger sizes. Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Savage X Fenty DISTURBIA A model shows off a lacy bodysuit from the collection.

And this being Rihanna's lingerie line, the singer emphasized says she designed these pieces for women to feel happy and comfortable with themselves-not for someone else's pleasure.

A membership program, costing about R600 a year, allows subscribers access to launches, limited-edition items, and free shipping.
