We are pretty much confident to say that Huawei has succeeded again in making a powerful device that is not as expensive as other top tier smartphones of important brands. In terms of memory, the device offers 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
Moreover, the Honor 10 runs EMUI 8.1 based Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and is backed by a built-in 3400mAh battery with quick charging support. This is largely thanks to the Kirin 970 chipset that powers the phone, which comes with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit and more advanced AI capabilities, or what Honor calls AI 2.0. According to the handset maker, the bundled charger will be capable of charging the Honor 10 up to 50% in just 25 minutes.
As per the listing on the TENAA site, the Honor 7S has dual-SIM support along with 4G LTE connectivity.
The fingerprint sensor on the devices is placed at the bottom of the display and can also be used for navigation like swiping up and down while using the smartphone.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Honor 7S is said to come with a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440×720 pixels) IPS display, and a MediaTek MT6739 64-bit quad-core SoC under the hood. The first one costs 2,599 CNY (approximately $410) while the second one is priced 2,999 CNY (approximately $470).
For optics, there is a dual-rear-camera setup which consists of a primary 16-megapixels (RGB) sensor and a secondary 16-megapixels (monochrome) sensor coupled with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, LED Flash, CAF as well as depth focus. It is available in four body shades- black, grey, mirage purple and mirage blue. In addition, this phone also packs in a 24MP selfie camera. The Honor 10 will zero in the AI technology on photography and include functions like scene recognition, semantic image segmentation, high optical zooms, ultra-fast shutter speed, portrait mode and portrait Bokeh effect.
